Most customers expect businesses to be on social media for a fast reply and 24/7 up to date service so it can put people off if your business isn’t ‘modernised’.

Your employees also represent your business on their own social media, if they put they work for you their name is going to come up when your business is searched online, this means they need to be using it professionally because a bad post from them could put people off your company.

There is little and sometimes no control who comments and shares posts that are made by a business, they could be shared to be positive, however be careful to avoid writing anything that could be turned around negatively.
